At the L.A. convivium’s general meeting on 3 April, Jody Donnelly alerted those assembled to–among other activities–the Healthy School Food Coalition’s initiatives. For those of you who could not attend, and those who did but wanted more information, the following handouts and information are now available via the Slow Food LA site, specifically:

• a statement regarding HSFC’s mission;
• new policies that will improve student nutrition and school food in LAUSD;
• a healthy snack list;
• the LAUSD obesity prevention motion;
• the healthy beverage resolution; and
• a healthy beverage list.
