Third Annual “Taste of Slow Food San Diego”

sandiego.jpgThis year’s Taste of Slow Food San Diego has as its theme “Chefs, Farmers, and World Cuisine” and will benefit both the San Pasqual Academy for Foster Teens and Slow Food Terra Madre.

San Diego’s finest chefs will team with local farmers to create unique, exciting cuisine from around the world and will feature produce from local farms, artisan cheeses, delectable meats, and unforgettable desserts, plus wine from Orfila Vineyards and beer from the Stone Brewing Co. A silent auction and musical entertainment will round out the evening.

When: Sunday, August 27, 2006 from 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Where: Orfila Vineyards, 13455 San Pasqual Road, Escondido [map]
Cost: $50 for Slow Food members; $65 for nonmembers; $100 for patrons
