The 4th Annual “Celebrate the Craft” will take place at The Lodge at Torrey Pines, a Five-Diamond resort in La Jolla, California. On Sunday, October 15th, 2006, San Diego’s top chefs will gather with farmers, ranchers, and vintners to present outstanding examples of culinary art and innovative food preparation which spotlight California’s bounty. Attendees will taste their way through the vast array of premium food products available throughout the state.
A festive picnic-style event features food demonstration and stations of growers, vintners, and suppliers. At 6:00pm, a dinner will be prepared by participating chefs. “Celebrate the Craft” is a delight for anyone eager for food prepared with natural ingredients and authentic care.
When: Sunday, October 15, 2006. Picnic from 11:30am until 3:00pm: $65.00; dinner at 6:00pm: $140.00.

A portion of the day’s proceeds will go to Slow Food San Diego, dedicated to promoting ecologically sound food production, bio-diversity, reviving the kitchen, bringing our hectic culture back to the dining table as a center of pleasure, as well as preserving ethnic food traditions.
