Reminder: Culinary Historians of Southern California Used Cookbook Sale

Some food lovers and appreciators of culinary history wait all year for the opportunity to get their hands on the thousands of cookbooks donated by members and friends of the CHSC. The sale includes both vintage and recent books, all at incredible prices.

This year, best-selling author Anne Willan has donated hundreds of books from her personal collection, so come early for the best selection.

When: Sunday, August 17, 2008, from 8:00am until 1:00pm
Where: Hollywood Farmers’ Market, on Ivar Boulevard between Sunset and Hollywood
Cost: The Market is open to the public, free of charge.

If your bookshelves are overloaded and you would like to donate cookbooks to this worthy cause, there’s still time to do so. Call Billie Connor-Dominguez at 323.660.3399 to find out how you can donate books.
