Communication resumes!

Several technical issues have now been resolved, and we’re pleased that our web-based and email channels of communication are fully open once again. We’re going to play catch up for the next few days, sharing information of recent vintage as well as alerts about upcoming events and status reports on several Slow Food programs, including the Time For Lunch campaign.

In anticipation of the 2012 reauthorization process, Dan Imhoff has revised Food Fight, his clear and helpful guide to the Farm Bill for concerned citizens, food activists, and the media. The Food Fight website features information about the book and the Farm Bill, and will be growing as Congress begins work on this important legislation in February and March.
The Los Angeles Food Policy Task Force has released its report and supporting documents. You can download the complete report or review the executive summary on the Good Food LA website.
